Berdasarkan kajian Dr. Benda Devy, seorang profesor pemakanan dari Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University di Blacksbury. Individu yang minum cukup air akan merasa lebih kenyang  dan akan mengambil jauh lebih sedikit kalori sepanjang hari. Individu yang rajin minum air juga cenderung tidak minum minuman manis seperti soda, kopi dan 'sport drinks'. Minum air sekitar 475ml sebelum makan membantu anda menurunkan berat badan lebih cepat.

Kaya Harta Dan Kaya Ilmu

Hadith :

Diriwayatkan daripada Abdullah bin Mas’ud r.a katanya: “Nabi Muhammad SAW pernah bersabda :” Janganlah ingin menjadi seperti orang lain kecuali seperti dua orang ini. Pertama, orang yang diberi Allah kekayaan berlimpah ruah dan ia membelanjakannya secara benar (di jalan yang adil dan sesuai dengan perintah Allah). Kedua, orang yang diberi Allah al-hikmah dan ia berperangai sesuai dengannya dan mengajarkannya kepada orang lain.”

Huraian
Setiap perbuatan ada matlamatnya masing-masing. Tetapi apa yang kita inginkan dalam hidup ini? Ilmu, wang atau selainnya? Perumpamaan orang yang kaya harta dan menafkahkan hartanya di jalan Allah adalah seperti benih yang menumbuhkan tujuh butir, pada setiap butir terdapat seratus biji. Hakikatnya, kaya dan miskin akan menguji tahap keimanan seseorang. Tidak semestinya yang kaya kurang imannya dan yang miskin pula kuat imannya atau sebaliknya. Jika direnung manakah yang lebih utama, ilmu atau harta? Tentu sekali ilmu kerana seperti kata sayidina Ali: “Ilmu akan menjaga diri mu, sementara harta adalah sebaliknya, kamu yang harus menjaganya.” Namun alangkah baiknya jika kita kaya kedua-duanya. Kaya harta dan kaya ilmu kerana kedua-dua mampu menaikkan kedudukan kita bukan sahaja di sisi manusia bahkan di sisi Allah SWT iaitu dengan cara memanfaatkan kurniaan Allah itu ke jalan yang diredhai-Nya.

On the island of Kauai there is a beach where a now-closed glass factory used to dump excess glass on the beach. Over time the relentless waves eroded the sharp edges of the glass. Now all that is left is little rounded pieces of glass that have become part of the sand.

No..this is not a picture of a playhouse. This is a house in a refugee camp in Dadaab, Eastern Kenya. Its so heartbreaking to read some people lives over 20 years in this type of home. Its more hearbreaking to know that the refugees are from Somalia-a long suffering Muslim country. May Allah give all of us great patience and strong believe. Its a great reminder for us to always be grateful of what Allah has given us. Alhamdulillah...a million..millions more Alhamdulillah.

its really sad to see people hurting each other with their words just because they have different opinions,

standing up to what you believe does not give you the right to says bad things about others,

names calling, prejudice & slandering are wrong, no matter on what purpose you use it for

it will not bring the other opponents to your believe,

instead it will make us lose our love & trust in friendship.

why highlight our differences when we also have our similarities?

how can you be so sure of what you believe when there are layers of stories which you could not uncover?

why must you foolishly believe whatever given to you?

what have you done to make sure that what you said is the truth?

Mistakes

Firman Allah yang bermaksud,

Memilih sahabat

Nasihat al-Qamah:
NASIHAT yang boleh diikuti dalam membina persahabatan ialah sebagaimana
pesanan al-Qamah (seorang sahabat Rasulullah saw) kepada anaknya:
Pertama,
pilihlah sahabat yang suka melindungi sahabatnya, dia adalah hiasan diri kita dan jika kita dalam kekurangan nafkah, dia suka mencukupi keperluan.
Kedua,
pilihlah seorang sahabat yang apabila engkau menghulurkan tangan untuk memberikan jasa baik atau bantuanmu, dia suka menerima dengan rasa terharu, jikalau ia melihat kebaikan yang ada pada dirimu, dia suka menghitung-hitungkan (menyebutnya)..

Ketiga,
pilihlah seorang sahabat yang apabila engkau menghulurkan tangan untuk memberikan jasa baik atau bantuanmu, ia suka menerima dengan rasa terharu dan dianggap sangat berguna, dan jika ia mengetahui mengenai keburukan dirimu ia suka menutupinya.
Keempat,
pilihlah sahabat yang jikalau engkau meminta sesuatu daripadanya, pasti ia memberi, jikalau engkau diam, dia mula menyapamu dulu dan jika ada sesuatu kesukaran dan kesedihan yang menimpa dirimu, dia suka membantu dan meringankanmu serta menghiburkanmu.
Kelima,
sahabat yang jikalau engkau berkata, ia suka membenarkan ucapandan bukan selalu mempercayainya saja. Jikalau engkau mengemukakan sesuatu persoalan yang berat dia suka mengusahakannya dan jika engkau berselisih dengannya, dia suka mengalah untuk kepentinganmu.

Dalam memilih sahabat kita hendaklah memilih sahabat yang baik agar segala matlamat dan hasrat untuk memperjuangkan Islam dapat dilaksanakan bersama-sama sahabat yang mulia.
